September 2014– Beazley hired Joel Fehrman and Charles J. Pruzinsky as underwriters to support the continued growth of the company’s flagship product, Beazley Breach Response (BBR), in the US.

Beazley recently announced it had serviced over 1,500 data breaches in the U.S. since 2009. The frequency and sophistication of data breach incidents continues to grow along with the associated costs. Through BBR Services, Beazley’s in-house breach response services team, Beazley brings together experienced legal counsel and IT specialists who identify where the breach occurred and how much data was compromised, and coordinate the notification of customers affected.

Joel joins Beazley from XL Group where he developed the company’s tech E&O and cyber business in the Southeast region. He is based in Beazley’s Atlanta office.

Charles joins Beazley from American International Group (AIG), having worked as a professional liability underwriter across various exposures including network security and privacy liability and media liability.  He is based in Beazley’s Chicago office.

September 2014 — Specialist insurer Beazley appointed Rossella Bollini and Nick Little as underwriters in the technology, media and business services (TMB) team as the company continues to expand its US and international expertise in data breach response insurance.

Rossella originally joined Beazley in 2012 as an underwriter, concentrating on large international D&O liability risks. She recently moved over to the TMB team to focus specifically on international cyber liability and technology errors and omissions risks, and her ability to speak five languages will further enhance Beazley’s ability to provide localised services. Prior to joining Beazley, Rossella specialised in the Italian professional indemnity market at a London based MGA.

Nick joins Beazley’s TMB team from CFC, where he held an underwriting role in its E-insurance division with overall responsibility for territories including the United States West Coast, Israel, and Spain. Prior to joining CFC he worked in the technology team at QBE.

Both Rossella and Nick will be based in Beazley’s London office.
