13:00 - 13:30 | Modeling Global D&O Risks The regulatory investigations and shareholder lawsuits arising out of the Volkswagen emissions scandal serve to remind us that of the risk of global shock losses arising out of a single company or contagion. Capturing worldwide data to describe these exposures is a significant challenge. This interactive session will review some of the significant situations including Volkswagen and Madoff and discuss how they can be modelled and treated. While we want to introduce you to our data products, we expect to promote a productive dialog about issues among the attendees.

14:40 - 15:20 | Claims Issues This session is aimed at educating risk managers on the reality of current executive exposures in Europe and how insurance policies respond. Using D&O claims examples as case studies, panelists will look at how governance broke down to cause the claim and walk through the solution of the claim and insurance coverage. Topics discussed will include investigation costs, erosion of limits, insolvency, subsidiary management and global policies.
