Panelists will discuss business interruption losses and will address deductible application and limit and deductible setting for perils. Panelists, including carriers, buyers, claims adjusters and brokers, will ask what worked and what needs to change.

The session will discuss drones, mapping programs and pre-event alert systems for clients. Panelists will ask what tools were most effective and consider what tools should be developed for future events.

This session will discuss the importance of the people in effective risk management strategies. Speakers will outline how to embed training on technology, understanding of risk and acceptance of mitigation tools in building sites.

We will explore prevention, protection, detection, and mitigation issues and address various technologies developed to assist. The session will also explore initial impacts from a claim and how using a combination of best practices and technology can help to not only support the claims process but also could help manage reputation.

3:15 pm - 4:00 pm | Policy Responses: Non-physical Damage BI Port closures, supply chain failures, the Zika Virus, Deepwater Horizon – all these events caused knock-on effects for multiple businesses. There are many more examples of losses suffered to business without any physical damage occurring. This session will look at some examples and discuss the insurance solutions.
