June 2015 – Former Gov. Tom Ridge added insurance industry veterans Adrian Scott and John Baskam to the Ridge Insurance Solutions team. Scott joins as executive vice president and chief underwriting officer and Baskam as executive vice president and COO.

Scott has more than 25 years Professional and Financial Lines experience across a variety of segments. He most recently was at QBE North America Major Brokers Division where he led the creation and implementation of a new Professional and Financial Lines, underwriting platform and capability. Prior to joining QBE in 2011 Scott built the North American E&O underwriting division for Valiant Insurance Company (US operations of Ariel Re) before it was acquired.
Scott also has worked for Minet and Aon finishing as a Managing Director at Marsh where he held various positions within the FINPRO division in Marsh NY. He holds an MBA from London Business School.
Baskam has more than 20 years insurance industry experience as a senior executive in primary and reinsurance complex specialty lines. He previously managed underwriting, loss control, and claims issues for CNA Insurance, XL Reinsurance North America, US Insurance group, and AIG.
