Insurance Industry Veteran Brings Expertise in the Successful Launch of New Editorial Products and in Leading Insurance News Teams

NEW YORK – October 7, 2013 – Advisen Ltd., the single source solution for insurance intelligence, today announced the appointment of Rebecca Bole as Director of Strategy and Products within its Research and Editorial (R&E) division. Bole is responsible for developing a bespoke editorial strategy for Advisen. She reports to David Bradford, President of Advisen’s R&E division.

Bole is leading the strategy and development of Advisen’s new Business Networks that will launch in 2014. Advisen Networks will offer exclusive news, analysis and data, driven by Advisen’s unparalleled information and analytics, domain expertise and community reach. These networks will target specific areas of focus within commercial insurance, such as cyber risk, risk management, and others.

Bole has nearly 20 years of experience in the international insurance markets. She spent the last five years at Insider Publishing, where she was most recently Publishing Editor, in charge of all editorial output. Prior to that, she built an Insider publication and associated event that brought together the community members who lead the convergence of the re/insurance industry and the capital markets.

David Bradford, President of Advisen’s Research & Editorial division, stated:

We are thrilled to attract someone of Rebecca’s caliber who has successfully served the challenging audience of hedge funds, investment bankers, and re/insurance professionals, thereby demonstrating her ability to raise the level of valuable discourse and analysis for the Insurance industry. I am expecting her to have a profound impact on the 150,000 insurance professionals who comprise our audience.

She began her insurance career as an Underwriter in the London market. Bole has worked at ACE, St. Paul, and Archer Group where she had global responsibilities for management liability and fidelity products for financial institutions accounts.

Advisen CEO Thomas P. Ruggieri added:

Rebecca’s extensive insurance background, both as an Underwriter and as a Publishing Editor, uniquely suits her to develop the strategy for and launch of our networks, integrating them seamlessly into Advisen’s successful insurance news, research and events services. In her career she has demonstrated unique business acumen in addition to her strong technical expertise and we look forward to her leading the execution of our new strategy within this segment.
