Advisen Appoints John Verel as Chief Data Architect

Advisen Ltd. announced today that John Verel has been appointed Chief Data Architect, based in New York. He is responsible for defining the overall data architecture for all data sets and derivative data products, including definition and maintenance of the Advisen data taxonomy.

Verel has nearly 25 years of experience within the insurance industry. He has extensive experience in end-to-end Business Intelligence design and development, data architecture, and data strategy. Prior to joining Advisen, John spent several years as a consultant, serving as data architect, systems analyst, data analyst and development consultant for several clients. Some of John’s previous employers include Cover-All Technologies, CNA, Swiss Re, and AIG.
