Advisen is a leading data, analytics, and news organization that serves the Property & Casualty insurance industry. Our clients are insurance companies, insurance brokerages, and large risk management departments.
In February 2015, we are adding a Systems Analyst to our analyst team.
Responsibilities
- Ingesting & processing new & recurring data submissions from our many broker clients & other similar data contributors
- Work with internal developers, architects & subject matter experts to develop new processes & enhance existing procedures to capture, standardize, match, load & test insurance policy data
- Analyze data structure & content of data submissions & source systems against existing rules & processes.
- Document business & technical requirements
- Write quality assurance plans
- Answer questions from & provide feedback to developers
- Execute quality assurance plans & report, track & monitor any issues discovered during development & data processing
- Work with statistical analysts & data analysts regarding data consumption needs
- Assess the impact to the existing processes for any required changes & document the requirements
- Document & test ETL & data warehouse requirements
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in either Management Information Systems, Information Technology or Business (with a concentration in Computer Science or Software Engineering)
- 2 years of experience in responsibilities or 2 years of experience as a Market Research Analyst developing analytical models for risk management & financial algorithms for extraction of information.
