On June 17, 2015 in New York City, over 200 cyber risk professionals gathered in the heart of New York City at a gala dinner that has cemented its position as the pinnacle of the cyber social calendar.
People flew in to Advisen’s Cyber Risk Awards from all over the globe to mingle and schmooze to maximum effect with the movers and shakers of this dynamic marketplace.
And more importantly, to celebrate the successes of the past year as nine award categories were bestowed on the people and firms voted most deserving of recognition by their peers.
After a couple of signature ‘Hackquiri’ cocktails, dinner guests settled down to some stellar entertainment from some of the market’s funniest individuals.
Tom Srail of Willis returned to the stage after his 2014 rapping debut, with a stunning rendition of ‘Poker Face’ by Lady Gaga – complete with mirror mask.
CFC Underwriting’s Graeme Newman did a hilarious take – with typically dry, British delivery – on the popular YouTube hit ‘the hot-crazy matrix’ and XL Catlin’s Jeremy Gittler playfully roasted some industry peers, while also turning the heat on himself.
Throughout the night, they laughed, some cried, a chosen few celebrated and all enjoyed a fantastic evening of networking, which continued well into the wee small hours…
If you weren’t there, begin planning to attend next year’s Cyber Risk Awards. In the meantime, here are some exclusive videos of the entertainment from the event.
