In December of this year, the Department of Labor will raise the salary threshold for White Collar Exemptions from $455 per week to $913 per week ($47,476 per year), impacting approximately 4.2 million workers. As the “Overtime Rule” takes effect December 1, employers will need to make preparations now in order to effectively navigate yet another hurdle in their quest to be fully compliant with Wage & Hour laws.
