Much time is spent discussing data breach, but is that what is keeping underwriters up at night? This session will gather a panel of senior carriers to discuss where the actual claims are coming from – intellectual property theft, E&O, media liability, etc. Is the loss trend shifting? How is it affecting carrier pricing models and driving pricing and underwriting controls?

3:30 pm - 4:15 pm | Operational Risk and the Cyber Threat 2014 saw an increase in the number of cyber incidents that had devastating effects on the operations of global companies. Nation states allegedly carried out attacks across the globe, but employees are also a weak link. This panel will discuss the cyber risks to corporate operations from outside and within its own walls. It will also touch on the ever-present threat to national critical infrastructure from a cyber attack.

4:15 pm - 5:00 pm | Live Cyber Incident Simulation Exercise The military does it, MI5 does it – increasingly corporations are doing it… Cyber war games are becoming a crucial part of testing your company’s responsiveness and resilience in the face of a ‘live’ cyber event. Advisen will conduct a cyber-incident simulation exercise that features a select team of experts – representing the various stakeholders in a real event – who will work through a mock cyber incident in real time. On March 3, the observation team will critique the handling of the incident by our experts and share some best practices and key takeaways with our conference audience.
