Transaction Insurance Insights Conference 2018 Recap

This year’s annual Transaction Insurance Insights Conference was a success for all involved. The theme was The lifecycle of an M&A insurance transaction: a practical guide.

What did you miss?!

With 12 sessions featuring 31 speakers, 200 attendees consisting of risk managers, brokers, carriers, and service providers learned about current issues within the process of a transaction – all packed into one day.

The day began with welcoming remarks from Dennis Kearns, SVP, Transactional and Financial Institutions at QBE. This was followed by several thoughtful discussions, including marketing considerations from a banker’s view, auction underway: strategic vs. financial buyers, and due diligence and underwriting. After lunch, more informative and useful talks resumed on topics ranging from beyond reps and warranties to dispute resolution and a reinsurer’s view from the top before the day closed with a festive reception.

Did you miss it all? Don’t worry – we’ve got you covered.
